@TheBrandedSwordsman Hey! Sorry, I was having some technical difficulties š I consider Demons Souls a masterpiece but am by no means remotely an expert on it. Honestly, itās probably the Souls game Iām least familiar with as far as builds and the light/dark mechanic and all of its idiosyncrasies go. Really love it though! A few of the bosses do have very specific strategies (or even weapons) to defeat them, so you may want to keep that in mind.
Iām about 3/4 of the way through Final Fantasy mode on Final Fantasy XVI. I wouldnāt call it a masterpiece but the 140+ hours I have into it speak to how much I absolutely love the game! Been thinking of jumping into Armoured Core VI when it releases but weāll see.

@colonelkilgore itās a good time to be a JRPG fan.
Btw Colonel I saw that you and the captain played Blasphemous (1). Worth playing?
PS Access put up a livestream of the second game & it looks brilliant.
Might just jump into that if itās a self contained story otherwise Iāll play the first game.

I actually havenāt played Blasphemous as of yet, I do own it though so maybe thatās why I came up as āalso played thisā on PSN. For what itās worth, I do think that Iāll really like it though, Iāve become a pretty big fan of metroidvanias this last year or so and the aesthetic of Blasphemous looks incredible. If you do play it definitely tag me with your thoughts š
@colonelkilgore The second game looks incredible from the stream. The last boss fight they showed looked like something straight out of Bloodborne. Iāve downloaded it, but coming off Deathās Door I might sit on it for a bit.
Will let you know my thoughts when I get to it!

@nessisonett Will do. Got it downloaded now, but going to let a week or so pass after Deathās Door. Probably very different games, but they seem to invoke a similar feeling.

As a tennis fan I'm looking forward to the US Open starting tomorrow. A bit gutted Sky has got the coverage this year (In UK) as I can't see how their coverage can be as good as Prime who do a great job of having live coverage of every single game to watch whenever you want.
@BearsEatBeets Ive no interest in the tennis, but I like how with Prime you can continue watching a match on a tablet or similar if you are away from the TV. I believe with NOW TV you need a separate subscription to the mobile service.
Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
@JohnnyShoulder Their tennis coverage and how good it is, is a big reason for why I continue to subscribe. Similar to when they have the football, it's all so easy to use. Fortunately I have Sky Sports but I don't find their app (or desktop player) as intuitive or impressive to use when I'm not watching the main channels through my Virgin box.
